International Women's Day: Making Room

Dear readers: I did that thing again where I forgot to tell you about a fantastic event until it was already over. Self-promotion makes me anxious and then I miss things! Bah! In terms of events, the launch of Room Magazine's Issues 37.4 and 38.1 this past Saturday was a good one. It dovetailed with a celebration of International Women's Day, and the readings from the stage at the Heartwood Community Cafe were an incredible reminder of the plentitude of voices to be found amongst women writers.

Such a huge thank-you to Room, the Heartwood, and the lovely crowd on Saturday. You are all the nicest.
