My good pal Sigal Samuel is curently a ninja-journalist in the far wilds of New York City, but her story 'Caw' is upcoming in Room volume 36.1! Since Siggy is out of the country, she kindly asked me to fill in at the magazine launch, and I'm very much looking forward to reading her work at the Joy Kogawa house this Friday evening. I encourage you to pick up a copy of Room - Sigal is a genius with words, and a name you'll definitely want to watch.
